Thailand~Travelling during Learning

I am Meka Saima Perdani, a student of Bengkulu University in Chemistry department. It was such a great chance for me to be elected as a student for Student Exchange Course Program to Rajamangala University of  Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV) Thailand. I have been learning culture, language, habituality and manner of Thailand people. This program conducted within 6 months, 4 months for 1 semester course in RMUTSV and 2 months left for internship activity in Nanotec Center Thailand. The course activity be done through private teaching methods with experimental or case study in the end of the class. During I studied in RMUTSV, I did mini-projects about virgin coconut oils for chemical kinetics subject, nanotechnology that applicated in scallop sunscreen and computational chemistry for International Conference. So that, I able to explore and gain my knowledge of chemistry.
This country have been giving me a great knowledges which every single people need to have a big tollerance to the others. The  people of Thailand are extremely respect and very appreciate to their teacher. There is an activity that always implementable in the beginning of semester, It’s called “Wai Khru”. Every students are going to paying respect the teacher for apologize and ask for best bless as well as giving  flowers and sprinkled holy water into the hands of teachers. Otherwise, Thailand is a country that excessive with buddhist culture. One of them is “Ngan Dean Sib” that celebrated in every temples of Thailand. It looks like a grateful to the god and reminiscently departed spirit to make them be in peace. It was a kind of cultures that I have never ever seen before. They decorated a car to be like a boat with dessert, the people called “khnom”.  They were parading and compete each other to be the best boat ever. During the event, It would be accompanied by music typical of Thailand which makes the visitors keep enjoying the event.
I am pretty sure, there are no regret to take a chance in every occasion, because we never know how perfect something can turn out. I conclude that being a good person does not depend on the religion, status in life, race, skin color, political views or even culture. It just depends on how we treat others.
